Holiday Club

We had a fabulous, action packed time at holiday club. We danced and sung, heard stories of God's amazing love, made bread, bobbed apples, constructed car tracks, dropped eggs, played silly games, made woven hearts and paper aeroplanes, printed our handprints, taught Rev Rachael how to do the floss (work in progress), talked about our hopes and dreams, and generally had lots of fun! We played games, bandaged people up, remembered our memory verse, made rocky road (and licked the left over chocolate from the bowl), plaited friendship bracelets, made clothes peg catapults, ate the best toast ever, thought about what it means to love our neighbour. It was an all-round fabulous time! See the pictures

Open Garden Weekend

Gardens around the village were opened to give visitors an opportunity to appreciate what a beautiful place we live in. John Steadman and Barry Simmons did a great job organising the event, along with their wonderful team of helpers, and the event raised a total of £600!

Summer Concert

Audlem Voices with soloist Jane Johnson. A perfect summer evening; super singing, great company and drinks on the lawn too!

Spring Concert

South Cheshire Concert Band. A wonderful evening of popular music ranging from the classics and Gershwin to Star Wars.

Wreath Making

Festive fellowship and creativity at the Ladies Retreat evening.

Harvest Concert

The wonderful West Gallery Costumed Quire, from Ironbridge in Shropshire sang for our Harvest Concert. For over thirty years, members of the Quire, from Ironbridge in Shropshire, along with the West Gallery Music Association, have been researching and bringing to life the robust, energetic music of the people, dating from the time when the village band accompanied the singing in church on a Sunday morning, having also played for the village dance the night before; music most famously recreated in the works of Thomas Hardy.
